What counts as a small group? A private group of three or four people who sign up together. Classes are limited to four students maximum. I do not combine strangers into publicly scheduled group classes.

PADI eLearning and certification — included
I purchase and assign the required PADI Open Water eLearning to each enrolled student. The cost is included in the advertised course price—there is no separate PADI materials charge for this course. Standard certification processing is also included after successful completion of all training requirements. Please do not purchase eLearning independently before enrolling.
Important equipment policy
Students coordinate and pay for all required gear, tanks, and air fills directly with a dive shop or rental provider of their choice. Robert Box Diving does not provide, rent, sell, or arrange student equipment. I can answer questions about what you need before your course.

A privately arranged two-dive local shore-diving outing for certified recreational divers. Rates are per diver, with a maximum of four participants. This is guided recreational diving, not a training or certification course.

Your guided day includes: Dive planning and site briefing, two guided recreational shore dives, navigation and local site guidance, and a post-dive debrief. Participants arrange and pay for all scuba equipment, two cylinders per diver and air fills, weights as required, and dive-site entry. Transportation and boat charter fees are not included. Dates, location, and suitability depend on weather, site conditions, certification, and recent diving experience.

Focused training—not a rush to certification.
Course schedules and locations are arranged personally. Pool access for scheduled confined-water training is included, and the pool location will be confirmed before training. Open-water site fees remain the student's responsibility.
PADI certification requires successful completion of all course requirements, not simply attendance or completion of a set number of dives. If additional training sessions are needed, we'll discuss scheduling and any additional charges beforehand.
For specialty courses, refreshers, or individually tailored diving days, please request an inclusive course quote. Where required, PADI learning materials and standard certification processing will be included in the quoted course price. Standard private recreational guided-dive rates are listed above.
